CDG meet and greet: VIP assistance at Paris-Charles de Gaulle
Star One provides meet and greet and VIP assistance at CDG, across Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Our teams accompany travellers on departure, in transit and on arrival, at the largest and most demanding airport in France.
Three terminals, and a Terminal 2 in several halls
Roissy is less an airport than a set of terminals spread over several kilometres. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 each work as a single unit; Terminal 2, by far the busiest, is divided into halls identified by a letter.
This is where most mistakes happen. Two flights both listed as departing from Terminal 2 may leave from halls several hundred metres apart, with separate security checks and different access points.
The terminals are linked by the CDGVAL, a free automated shuttle. It runs continuously, but the journey, the waiting time and the walking distances all add up. Changing terminal is something to plan for, not to improvise.

Connections, the particular difficulty of Roissy
CDG is a hub: a large share of its passengers are only passing through. Three factors determine how difficult a connection will be.
- A change of terminal, which means a shuttle journey and a fresh security check
- Moving between the Schengen and non-Schengen areas, which adds a border control
- Reclaiming luggage, required on certain itineraries and on most connections between airlines that are not partners
A member of our team meets you on arrival and accompanies you to your departure gate, however many stages that involves. If your first flight is delayed, we follow the situation and adapt the arrangements.
Border formalities since the EES came into force
Since 10 April 2026, the EU Entry/Exit System has been fully operational. Nationals of countries outside the European Union have their biometric data recorded, both on entry to and exit from the Schengen area. A number of countries are exempt, including Monaco, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland.
The first crossing takes the longest, as it creates the record. Subsequent ones are quicker. Free self-service pre-registration kiosks are available at the main French airports and allow part of the data to be entered in advance.
We do not quote a duration: it depends on the terminal, the time of day and the traffic. What we do is tell you before you travel whether you are affected and what will be asked of you, and accompany you through the process.
Lounge access
Access to a lounge depends on the airline, the class of travel, your frequent flyer status and, in some cases, your bank card. Roissy has many lounges, but they are spread across the terminals and halls: the one you are entitled to use is not necessarily the closest to your gate.
We check in advance what your ticket entitles you to and accompany you to the relevant lounge. If no access is included, you will know before you reach the airport.

Tell us your flight number, the date and the number of passengers. We confirm the terminal, the hall, the meeting point and the sequence before you travel.

Which terminals do you cover ?
Terminals 1, 2 and 3, including all halls of Terminal 2. We confirm yours from your flight number.
How long should I allow for a connection at Roissy ?
It depends on your itinerary : same terminal or not, same area or not, luggage to reclaim or not. We review your connection when preparing your assistance and tell you whether it is comfortable or tight, rather than quoting a general figure that would mean little.
What does the EES mean for me?
If you are a national of a country outside the European Union, your biometric data is recorded on entry to and exit from the Schengen area. The first registration takes the longest. We let you know in advance and accompany you on the day.
Can I use a lounge if my ticket does not include one?
It depends on the lounge and on your flight. Some offer paid entry, others do not, and access through a bank card or frequent flyer status follows its own rules. We look into the options before you travel.
Can you assist a passenger arriving at Le Bourget and departing from Roissy?
