Our airports
Star One provides airport assistance at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly, Paris-Le Bourget and Nice Côte d’Azur. Across these four airports, our teams accompany travellers on departure, in transit and on arrival.
Where we operate
Each airport has its own logic. Here is what sets them apart, and what it means for you.
- CDG
Paris-Charles de Gaulle
The largest airport in France. Three terminals, one of which (Terminal 2) is divided into seven halls linked by shuttle. Distances are long, and connections call for planning, particularly when changing terminal or moving between the Schengen and non-Schengen areas.
- ORY
Paris-Orly
Four terminals within one continuous building, some fifteen kilometres south of Paris. The airport is compact, but its traffic concentrates in the first and last hours of the operating day. We cover early departures and late arrivals alike.
- LBG
Paris-Le Bourget
Europe’s leading business aviation airport. There is no public terminal: each aircraft is received by a private operator, with its own lounge and its own procedures. Our work here is coordinated with the operator handling your flight.
Nice Côte d’Azur
Two terminals, a strongly seasonal pattern and a significant share of business aviation. The airport serves Nice, Monaco, Cannes and the surrounding region. Event periods change timings considerably.
A chosen scope
We work at four airports, and we keep it that way.
Accompanying a passenger means knowing the ground: the routes, the distances between terminals, the busiest hours, the people who work there. That knowledge is built over years. It cannot be delegated.
Star One has been assisting travellers for eight years. Our hosts and hostesses are employed by the company, trained to our methods, and present at the same airports every day. Your assistance is not subcontracted.
Our teams work in French, English and Arabic.
Arranging assistance
Assistance is prepared in advance. The sooner we receive the details, the more precise the welcome on the day.
These details allow us to confirm the meeting point and the sequence before you arrive. A quotation follows our first exchange.
- The flight number, or the aircraft registration for a private flight
- The airport, terminal and scheduled time
- The name of the lead passenger and the number of people travelling
- The number and type of bags
- The pick-up or destination address
- A direct contact for whoever is arranging the journey
- Any particular requirements : children, animals, specific equipment, reduced mobility
The same standard, different ground
Our method does not change from one airport to another. The locations impose their own constraints.
What is the same everywhere
- A dedicated contact, reachable before, during and after the journey
- Hosts and hostesses employed by Star One, working in French, English and Arabic
- Flight monitoring, with pick-up times adjusted in the event of delay
- Luggage taken care of, from drop-off to collection
- Continuous accompaniment, with no gap between stages
- Confidentiality regarding your journey
What the location changes
The layout of an airport determines where we meet you and how the assistance unfolds.
At Charles de Gaulle, the scale of the site and the inter-terminal shuttle govern connections. At Orly, the operating hours shape the day. At Le Bourget, the absence of a public terminal calls for coordination with the operator receiving the aircraft, and access to the aircraft steps remains subject to their authorisation. At Nice, movement on the apron is restricted to licensed ground handling companies, so assistance takes place inside the terminal.
We would rather tell you what is possible before you leave than after you land.
Arranging travel for your clients
Hotels, travel agencies, airlines, executive assistants: a significant share of our work comes from professionals arranging someone else’s journey.
You have a single contact for all your requests, including when one journey involves more than one of our airports. Files are handled confidentially, and invoicing adapts to the way you work.
When you recommend us, your own reputation is at stake. We treat it accordingly.
Frequently asked questions
Do you operate at other airports ?
No. Our work is concentrated on Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly, Paris-Le Bourget and Nice Côte d’Azur. For another airport we can point you in the right direction, but we will not handle the assistance ourselves.
How far in advance should I arrange assistance ?
Forty-eight hours allows us to organise it properly. Later requests are considered, subject to the availability of our teams.
What happens if my flight is delayed or diverted ?
We monitor your flight and adjust the pick-up time without any action on your part. In the event of a diversion, we contact you and adapt the arrangements, within the airports we cover.
Can you assist a passenger arriving at Le Bourget and departing from Roissy ?
Yes. We ensure continuity between our airports: assistance on arrival, transfer between the two, then assistance on departure, with the same contact throughout.
Do you assist passengers with reduced mobility ?
Assistance for passengers with reduced mobility is provided free of charge by the airport, on request through your airline. Our accompaniment comes in addition to it and does not replace it.
