Nice airport meet and greet: VIP assistance at Nice Côte d’Azur
Star One provides meet and greet and VIP assistance at Nice Côte d’Azur, in Terminal 1 as well as Terminal 2. Our teams accompany travellers on departure, in transit and on arrival, and extend the journey towards Monaco, Cannes and the surrounding region.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 : worth checking
Nice has two terminals, roughly a kilometre and a half apart and linked around the clock by a free shuttle taking about ten minutes.
How airlines are distributed between them follows no obvious logic. It is neither a Schengen and non-Schengen split, nor a split between full-service and low-cost carriers: Lufthansa, British Airways and Qatar Airways operate from Terminal 1, while Air France, KLM and Emirates operate from Terminal 2. The allocation also changes, and several airlines have moved terminal in recent months.
Only your ticket is authoritative. We check it from your flight number when preparing your assistance.
The Terminal 2 extension, which opened in April 2026, has also changed the departure routes, adding thirty-six check-in desks and five boarding gates.
How assistance works at Nice
A member of our team meets you inside the terminal, at a point agreed in advance: the arrivals hall, the check-in area or the drop-off, depending on your flight and the time of day.
At Nice, movement on the apron is restricted to ground handling companies holding a ministerial licence. We do not claim access to it: our accompaniment begins and ends inside the terminal. This is a regulatory limit, and it applies equally to every provider.
Within that framework, nothing else changes. Your luggage is taken care of, we accompany you through the formalities, and you are guided through a terminal our teams know well to your vehicle on arrival, or to your boarding gate on departure.
The full sequence is described on our assistance on departure, in transit and on arrival pages.
Lounge access
Access to a lounge does not depend on the passenger’s wishes. It depends on the airline, the class of travel, your frequent flyer status and, in some cases, your bank card. Both terminals at Nice have lounges, including one opened with the Terminal 2 extension.
We check in advance what your ticket entitles you to and tell you before you travel. If access exists, we accompany you there. If it does not, you know before reaching the airport rather than at the desk.
Seasons, events and business aviation
Nice is the third busiest airport in France, and its activity varies sharply with the time of year. Summer, the major events of the Côte d’Azur and professional gatherings concentrate traffic into a few weeks, with a marked effect on check-in times and on access to the terminals.
These periods are worth preparing. We adjust pick-up times and ask for longer notice than in quieter months.
The airport also handles a significant share of business aviation. For a passenger arriving by private jet and continuing on a commercial flight, or the reverse, we ensure continuity between the two.
Finally, the airport serves a wide area. Assistance can continue by car towards Monaco, Cannes, Antibes or the hinterland.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover both terminals ?
Yes, Terminal 1 as well as Terminal 2. We confirm yours from your flight number when preparing your assistance and let you know before you travel.
Can you meet me as I leave the aircraft ?
No. At Nice, movement on the apron is restricted to licensed ground handling companies. We meet you inside the terminal, at the point agreed in advance.
Can I use a lounge if my ticket does not include one ?
It depends on the lounge, your flight and the time of year. We look into the options before you travel and tell you what is genuinely available, rather than promising it in advance.
Do you arrange transfers to Monaco, Cannes or Saint-Tropez ?
Yes. A driver can meet you outside the terminal and continue the journey along the Côte d’Azur or inland.
Do you operate during the busiest periods ?
Yes, subject to availability. These periods need to be arranged earlier: contact us as soon as your dates are fixed.
